This event aims to create a space for exchanging experiences among various Local Action Groups that have worked to promote culture as a driving force for development in their territories and as a tool for improving the quality of life of their inhabitants.

This meeting will also be an opportunity to explore, debate, and reflect on how cultural and creative activities can strengthen rural areas in the face of challenges such as depopulation, unwanted loneliness, and the loss of traditional knowledge and wisdom. They can also become opportunities for rural areas, generating new employment opportunities, new imaginaries, new meeting places, and new cooperation networks within the region.

Goals

• Exchange knowledge and best practices to leverage the opportunities that culture offers for rural development from a Leader perspective.
• Share experiences on the different strategies implemented by the GAL to promote culture.
