Women's participation in the agricultural and economic activities of their communities is a primary necessity for the survival of rural areas. Therefore, actions that facilitate their working conditions and allow them to develop within a framework of full equality—leading or co-managing their farms and projects, or sharing family responsibilities and benefits fairly—are the focus of the CAP Network's attention.

Among other activities, the PAC Network promotes meetings and workshops on empowerment, disseminates the possibilities of direct aid and rural development, and reports on projects and studies carried out by (and about) rural women.
