Coworking is presented as an innovative way of working, capable of contributing to the economic revitalization of rural areas, with its different modalities and management strategies. At the same time, it fosters knowledge, networking, and creates relationships among members of the coworking community in these areas.

The meeting on January 31, 2019, was intended as an opportunity to share experiences, knowledge, and best practices among coworking space facilitators and managers, as well as representatives of Local Action Groups across the country.

The objectives of the meeting revolved around the following points:

• Promote coworking as a new way of working that enables the creation of new employment and economic opportunities for people in rural areas.
• Interconnect and link professionals from different sectors of activity in rural areas
• Offering coworking space professionals and the spaces themselves visibility and tools to network and create synergies between them
• Promote economic activity in rural areas through the development of shared projects among different professionals in these fields.
• To publicize cases of good practices in coworking in rural areas
