Strengthening skills and abilities related to business management are critical areas for optimizing business tasks, achieving greater performance, and making them more sustainable. This is why the RRN has launched this workshop, which aims to improve women's preparation and skills for their roles in the companies they manage or work for, thus contributing to the revitalization of the region by creating jobs, thereby constituting a true engine of change and source of wealth.

Content

The course has begun with 29 participants , selected from among all those registered and invited. The four modules cover the following areas:

• MODULE I. How to market. Negotiation skills.
• MODULE II. Business and financial management.
• MODULE III. Improve your communication tools.
• MODULE IV. Team management and problem solving.

In addition to the theoretical sessions taught in the virtual classroom, the students will be practically and individually focused on the knowledge they possess, applying it to their own companies through reflection sessions, examples, and case studies. Forums will also be established for interaction with instructors to address questions or share reflections that will enrich the discussion related to each of the modules taught in the course.

This training also aims to create and strengthen a network among women participating in different editions of the Excellence Awards, contributing to the creation of synergies between them and sharing learning experiences, innovative ideas, and successful experiences.

11th edition of the Excellence Awards for Innovation for Rural Women

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food is once again holding its eleventh edition of the "Rural Women's Excellence in Innovation Awards." The "Rural Women's Excellence in Innovation Awards" recognize the work, projects, and key role of women in rural areas.

Nominations for these awards can be submitted until 02/07.

As established in the Order of May 26, 2020, establishing the 2020 call for applications, there are four categories of prizes with monetary endowment and a category of "Special Recognition for a Career Linked to Supporting Women in Rural Areas," which recognizes the support, promotion, and appreciation of women in rural areas or rural coastal areas.
