The objective of the workshop is to provide technicians involved in the agricultural sector , both government officials and professional organizations, with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to inform those interested in registering their farms in the Shared Ownership Registry. The implementation of this Law aims to professionalize women's agricultural activity, improve female participation in agricultural organizations, raise awareness of women's work on farms, promote equality and improve the quality of life in rural areas, and assist in the settlement of the rural population.

During the day, various representatives from the various Ministries and Delegations of the Castile and León Regional Government involved in processing applications (Agriculture, Tax Agency, Social Security and Social Policies, Family and Equality) spoke, and two people registered under the Joint Ownership scheme were given firsthand testimony.

At the end of the day, a round of questions and debate took place, concluding that all stakeholders involved in Shared Ownership must work together to increase the number of farms with shared ownership. Castilla y León is the region with the highest number of registered farms, 143. To promote this measure, MAPAMA is developing a manual and an official bulletin that will serve as a guide to promote Shared Ownership, highlight the role of women, and contribute to empowerment in the agricultural sector.

This is the second event held this year by MAPAMA , organized by the National Rural Network , part of the General Subdirectorate of Innovation and Modernization of the Rural Environment. It is part of the initiative to hold events in various autonomous communities to promote the concept of Shared Ownership.
