March 11, 2020. The decision follows the guidelines of the health prevention measures established by government authorities in response to COVID-19. The suspension does not affect the "Local Development Strategies Assessment Workshop for Local Action Groups," which is currently being held.
The National Rural Network of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food—in line with the health guidelines for prevention regarding Coronavirus or COVID-19—has decided to suspend in-person activities organized to promote rural areas sine die until further notice.
This decision does not, for the time being, affect the 11 people attending the "Local Development Strategies Evaluation Workshop for Local Action Groups, " which has been running since yesterday, Tuesday, and until next Friday, the 13th, in the town of San Martín de Valdeiglesias.
In this workshop, Local Action Groups (LAGs) from all over Spain, in accordance with Regulation 1305/2013 and within the current LEADER 2014-2020 programming period, must conduct an evaluation of the Local Development Strategies implemented.
April Agenda
The National Rural Network is planning an exchange of experiences between Operational Groups on animal health issues, to be held at the Agri-Food Technology Institute of Extremadura (INTAEX) on April 2. This event is postponed until further notice.
