The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has published the Informative Manual on Shared Ownership (TO) of Agricultural Holdings to facilitate the understanding and application of Law 35/2011, of October 4, on TO of Agricultural Holdings , a regulation whose objective is to professionalize the work carried out by women on agricultural holdings , and which is often not made clear when only one of the members of the couple appears as the owner, who is generally the man.

The publication of the Manual aims to present in a clear and concrete manner the implications of the TC figure and the possible benefits for the owners of the farms , both those beneficiaries and those who are interested in this figure, as well as the technicians of the public administrations and other agents of the sector involved in its management.

It also seeks to facilitate registration in the TC , identifying the registration procedure with a precise focus at the level of each Autonomous Community and answering frequently asked questions that arise in relation to this figure, its implications both fiscal and in terms of Social Security, the registration process, compatibility with other activities or aid, the Basic Payment and with the recognition of the exploitation as a priority.

To develop the Manual, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has enlisted the participation of the administrations and stakeholders involved in the management of the TC. On the one hand, through specially created working groups, with national rural women's organizations and the managers responsible for managing the processing and registration of farms in the TC registries of each Autonomous Community. On the other hand, technical staff from the General State Administration, such as the Tax Agency , the General Treasury of Social Security , the Spanish Agricultural Guarantee Fund (FEGA) , and the Women's Institute for Equal Opportunities, have also collaborated.

This Manual will be updated as new issues of interest that need clarification are identified.
