There are numerous organizations with social projects in rural areas that often remain uninvited and receive few applications, often due to lack of awareness. Hence, the National Rural Network (RRN)'s efforts to publicize and disseminate all types of calls for proposals that contribute to rural development.
- The call aims to promote projects in municipalities with fewer than 10,000 inhabitants.
- It is aimed at creating opportunities for families, children and adolescents, women, the elderly, and people at risk of social exclusion in rural areas.
- The deadline for submitting projects will be open between May 17, 2022, and June 9, 2022, inclusive.

Hence, the National Rural Network (RRN) 's efforts to publicize and disseminate all types of calls for proposals that contribute to rural development.
The La Caixa Foundation has launched the 2022 call for proposals for its " Social Action in Rural Areas" program , the aim of which is to promote projects in municipalities with fewer than 10,000 inhabitants - adapted to their territorial characteristics and social needs - that contribute to creating opportunities for families, children and adolescents, women, the elderly, and people at risk of social exclusion in these rural areas.
The initiative is backed by €1 million and will be open from May 17, 2022, at 12:00 p.m., to June 9, 2022, at 5:00 p.m.
Areas of action
Entities wishing to apply for the call must have projects aimed at:
- Older people and the challenges of aging.
- People with disabilities or mental disorders.
- Health.
- Fight against poverty and social exclusion.
- Socio-laboral integration.
- Promoting the value of the local community.
Requirements
The entities that can apply for the call are:
- Non-profit entities .
- Social economy entities whose statutes specify work on social cohesion.
These entities must be registered in the administrative registry corresponding to their area of activity and be domiciled in Spain.
This call allows entities with a current agreement to apply for the 2021 calls for the Social Initiative Project Aid Program of the "La Caixa" Foundation .
Public Administrations are excluded from this call.
