The Directorate-General for Rural Development and Forestry Policy is holding a workshop on the Cork 2.0 European Rural Development Conference.

The 2nd European Conference on Rural Development, Cork 2.0, was held on 5 and 6 September 2016 in Cork, Ireland, 20 years after the 1st European Conference on Rural Development was held in the same venue.
The Directorate-General for Rural Development and Forestry Policy participated in the conference, which brought together more than 300 participants, to discuss the current and future challenges facing European rural areas and the potential responses that the European Rural Development Policy can provide.
During this session, the participants from the DGDRYPF (Directorate-General for Rural Development) will report to the rural development program management authorities on the working sessions and conclusions reached during the conference.
The event will take place in the auditorium of the MAGRAMA headquarters at Plaza de San Juan de la Cruz s/n, on the morning of Thursday, September 29, 2016.
