Program to improve the use of information and communication technologies.
03.01.2018
The Red.es platform, a public business entity of the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda (MINETAD) dependent on the Secretary of State for the Information Society and the Digital Agenda (SESIAD), presented two digitalization aid programs last December at a conference organized by the National Rural Network.
The Call for Proposals for the first aid program, "Digital Transformation Offices," was published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) on December 23. The program aims to create and consolidate Digital Transformation Offices (DTOs) to facilitate the digitalization process of Spanish companies and digital entrepreneurship . It is aimed at associations or professional bodies that focus their activities on the sector they are targeting and that have a physical space in the Autonomous Community where they are requesting aid, in which to carry out their activities.
The actions that these OTDs must carry out are dissemination (raising awareness and stimulating SMEs in their digital transformation process and entrepreneurs) and support (attention and resolution of queries regarding ICT solutions and methodologies to improve business management).
The application period will be one month from the day following the publication of the Call in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
It has received €5 million from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), co-financed by the Smart Growth Operational Program (SOP) . The grant will be a minimum of €100,000 and a maximum of €200,000. There may be a maximum of one office per economic sector and autonomous community.
The "Digital Advisors " grant program will soon open a general invitation to register for advisors and publish the call for applications for SMEs.
