17 feature films and 6 short films with the rural world as the main setting

This year's program includes 17 feature films and 6 short films , including some of the most notable productions of recent Spanish cinema, many of which are set in rural areas. Among the selected titles are Un amor (Isabel Coixet), Sica (Carla Subirana), O Corno (Jaione Camborda), As Neves (Sonia Méndez), Camino de la Suerte (Jorge Alonso), and Los pequeños amores (Celia Rico).

Thanks to the collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts ( ICAA ), of the Ministry of Culture , the number of activities parallel to the film series increases each year, among which the participation of directors in 21 colloquia open to the public stands out.

This activity joins a remarkable network of collaborations with associations, foundations, and organizations, which have enabled the establishment of new venues, thereby strengthening the cultural fabric in rural areas. Thus, and with the aim of reaching new audiences, this year's screenings will be held in 131 senior residences and 12 schools and institutes, where educational activities will be held on rural women and their audiovisual representation.
