DG AGRI and the European Network for Rural Development Contact Point (ENDR) are jointly organizing a workshop entitled "EFSI: Achieving complementarity with the EAFRD and creating investment platforms" in Brussels on 19 April 2016.

The event will explore in detail practical steps for creating investment platforms, as well as concrete opportunities for linking the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) to the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI).

It is primarily aimed at managing authorities, promotional banks and other financial institutions, and sectoral organizations.

The event will build on a recent ENRD-EFSI workshop, which provided an overview of the core elements and tools of the Investment Plan for Europe.
