The Federation of Rural Women and Families (AMFAR) celebrates World Rural Women's Day in Soria this Sunday, October 15, with the conference "Women and Rural Development, a challenge for the province of Soria."

The event, which is expected to be attended by more than 120 rural women, will take place at the Valonsadero Town Hall in the capital of Soria, starting at 11 a.m.

The opening of the conference will feature the participation of Yolanda de Gregorio , the Government Subdelegate in Soria . The conference will address the "Measures, priorities, and actions offered by the new rural development program for women: EAFRD 2014-2020."

Throughout the morning, representatives from various Soria Rural Development associations, such as Tierras del Cid, Asopiva, ADEMA, and Proynerso, will speak about "Women and Rural Development: A Regional Vision."
