Sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Development of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha and co-financed by the EAFRD, the course on "Environmental Guides and Monitors in Protected Natural Areas: Design and Implementation of a Protected Itinerary" will be held in the various Provincial Offices of the Ministry during the months of October and November.
Aimed at individuals whose activities take place or may take place in rural areas, contributing to the regulation of public use and conservation, as well as the promotion of rural tourism compatible with the Community's Protected Areas, the program aims to train professionals in the planning, design, and implementation of nature itineraries based on heritage interpretation that attract visitors. Along these lines, the importance of communication, evaluation, and risk prevention in activities in the natural environment will be addressed, with the following aims:
- To make known the functions of the guide and his role in nature conservation
- Explain how Heritage Interpretation and its application facilitates the work of the guide
- Remember the basic knowledge about the interpretive resource: physical, biotic and socio-economic environments and their interrelations
- Teach communication improvement techniques according to the recipients
