The National Rural Network organized the event entitled "System for Recognition of Sustainable Tourism in the Natura 2000 Network."

The main objective of the event was to disseminate the Sustainable Tourism Recognition System within the Natura 2000 Network.

The specific objectives pursued were:

• Explain the tools and phases of the System;
• Propose initiatives for the implementation of the System;
• Learn about good tourism practices in the Natura 2000 Network;
• Promote the exchange of best practices in sustainable tourism within the Natura 2000 Network between managers and the tourism sector.
