The LEADER Subgroup is resuming its activities in the 2023-2027 programming period. It is promoted by MAPA through the Directorate General for Rural Development, Innovation and Agri-Food Training. It seeks to create a space for debate, mutual learning, and information exchange among all stakeholders involved in implementing LEADER's intervention in Spain.

Target audience
• Regional Networks and National Networks of Local Action Groups.
• Management Authorities and regional managers of LEADER.
• Various units of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food linked to LEADER work.
Due to capacity limitations, a maximum of two people per entity will be admitted, each with different roles. In the case of GAL networks: the president and management, and in the case of Autonomous Communities: the managing authorities and the LEADER manager.
In the absence of a regional network, the GALs of the autonomous community must appoint a representative to attend.
