The National Rural Network is promoting a meeting on collaborative entrepreneurship, especially dedicated to young people, where various projects and initiatives that have taken advantage of the opportunities offered by the collaborative and social economies in rural areas will be presented.
The collaborative economy presents the emergence of new business opportunities and the generation of ideas based on communication technologies, in which youth-led startups play an important role. The digital transformation thus opens up a range of opportunities for rural areas, new activities, and new entrepreneurial strategies to meet society's needs within the framework of Rural Development Policies and the demographic challenge.
Raúl Contreras, social entrepreneur from the Ashoka Network and co-founder of “NITTÚA: Platform for Social Change,” will present the foundations of social and collaborative entrepreneurship. Five young entrepreneurs will then share their experiences in very diverse projects ranging from the revitalization of the social and solidarity economy to shared workshops, crowdfunding , digital nomads, and new rural coliving and coworking spaces .
The session will continue with a panel discussion on the challenges and opportunities for young people in rural areas, where attendees' questions and concerns will be addressed through experience.
