This event is organized by the CAP Network, managed by the Subdirectorate General for Agricultural Policy Planning, in collaboration with the Subdirectorate General for Rural Environment Promotion of the General Directorate for Rural Development, Innovation, and Agri-Food Training (Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food, MAPA).

Objectives of the day

• Promote the participation and inclusion of young people in the decision-making and governance bodies of the GAL
• Share experiences regarding the participation of rural youth in recent EDLP
• Improve communication and information flow to foster the creation of new opportunities for young people in rural areas.
• Disseminate and give visibility to good practices of young people in LEADER
• Reflect on the obstacles, difficulties, and limitations young people encounter when embarking on a future in rural areas and share ideas and initiatives that have been implemented.

The event will be held in person at the “La Cortas de Blas” farm school in Villalba de los Alcores (Valladolid).
