This event is organized by the CAP Network, managed by the Subdirectorate General for Agricultural Policy Planning, in collaboration with the Subdirectorate General for Rural Environment Promotion of the General Directorate for Rural Development, Innovation, and Agri-Food Training (Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food, MAPA).
Objectives of the day
- Sharing experiences regarding generational change in the agricultural sector and the promotion of land banks.
- Disseminate and raise awareness of LEADER's best practices in generational change in the agricultural sector and its participation in land banks.
- Reflect on the obstacles, difficulties, and limitations that people living in rural areas, especially young people, encounter in accessing land and the agricultural sector, and share ideas and initiatives that have been implemented.
Target audience
- Technical and management staff of the Local Action Groups (LAG).
- LEADER managers and Regional Management Authorities of the autonomous communities responsible for generational change in the agricultural sector and management of agricultural land.
- Regional and national GAL networks.
- Land bank managers, city councils, and other local entities.
- Any entity with an interest in the subject matter of this event.
The event will be held in person at the Niemeyer Center in Avilés (Asturias).
Attendance is free , with a maximum capacity of 100 people.
