The National Rural Network, at the suggestion of the national women's organization Afammer and as part of the 2017 Action Plan, is organizing a conference on women's entrepreneurship in rural areas.

The event will feature panel discussions and lively debates on the obstacles, advantages, results, and proposals for improvements that foster women's entrepreneurship in rural areas.

Objectives of the day:

• Promote the incorporation of women into economic activities in rural areas and encourage their entrepreneurship.
• Present the experiences of the winners of the latest editions of the Excellence in Innovation Awards for Rural Women, awarded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food, and the Environment.
• Exchange of examples of entrepreneurship developed by women in rural areas.
• Discuss potential obstacles encountered in the entrepreneurship process, its advantages, the results obtained, and other aspects that promote women's entrepreneurship in rural areas.
