The general objective of the AgriRegenCarbon project is to establish a pilot project to validate the technical, regulatory and economic feasibility of a methodology for generating carbon emissions offsets in the agricultural sector .

Specific objectives:

1. To establish the technical, logistical, and economic feasibility of the proposed methodology for monitoring, reporting, and verifying the removal of GHG emissions in the agricultural sector.
2. Validate key aspects of the methodology as a tool to facilitate the transition in compliance with existing and developing standards and certification schemes, as well as market demand.
3. Validate the methodological proposal for monitoring soil, pollinator, and bird biodiversity in Regenerative Agriculture projects and propose future lines of development.
4. Determine the accuracy of indirect vs. direct methods for establishing baseline soil organic carbon content.

This event is part of its outreach activities: field demonstration workshops with farmers.
