Within the framework of the grant from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food for carrying out activities of special interest to promote the role of women in rural development, the Association of Women of Agri-food Cooperatives of Spain (AMCAE) will implement a program of actions in which social, economic and technological innovation will take center stage.
This event is framed within the need to continue promoting the active, visible, and equal participation of women in the agri-food cooperative sector, recognizing their contribution to the economic and social development of the region. In a context of transformation within the agricultural sector, it aims to create a space for meeting, reflection, and the exchange of experiences that will allow progress towards more inclusive management models, strengthening the role of women in management, decision-making, and leadership within cooperatives. It also seeks to provide tools, resources, and practical experiences that promote equal opportunities and women's empowerment, highlighting women as key agents for sustainability, innovation, and competitiveness in rural areas.
