EIP-AGRI is organizing a two-day workshop on organic farming ('Organic is operational: linking EIP-AGRI Operational Groups in organic farming').
This workshop, which will take place in Hamburg, Germany, on June 14 and 15, is being held in cooperation with the following institutions: the German Federal Office for Agriculture and Food, Innovationsbüro EIP Agrar Schleswig-Holstein, Innovationszentrum Niedersachsen GmbH, and IFOAM EU.
This is the first EIP-AGRI workshop at EU level to create and launch operational groups, offering the opportunity to exchange experiences with other farmers, researchers, advisory services, innovation support services, etc. from across Europe (and also in the organic farming sector).
The workshop will include a field visit to operational group projects on organic farming. You can find the detailed program here. EIP-AGRI ECOLOGICAL AGRICULTURE WORKSHOP PROGRAM
There are still some vacancies available for this workshop, so we encourage anyone interested in this topic to attend. Up to three representatives per operational group are welcome, as long as one of them is a farmer.
The workshop will be held in English only, with no translation provided by the organizers. Therefore, if language is a problem, if several people from the same group attend, one of them must be able to translate for the others.
Travel and hotel expenses for participants may be covered by the EU Commission. In this case, the EIP-AGRI Service Point will handle the reservation directly. You can send your participation applications , which must include the name of the operational group, country, full name of the applicant, email address, and their role within the operational group, to this email address:
