The RRN wishes to publicize all of these "Juventud enREDada" entities and projects with the aim of highlighting youth initiatives and associations carried out in rural areas and encouraging youth associations and participation in projects that have a positive impact on rural communities.

The National Rural Network publicizes youth activities in rural areas

  • The RRN will select five rural revitalization projects carried out by the "enREDada youth", which will be disseminated nationally and Europeanly.
  • Of the 5 projects, 3 will be presented by their creators at the Presura fair in November.
  • The deadline for submitting projects is from June 20 to July 18

For the past two years, the National Rural Network (RRN) has focused its action plan on promoting and highlighting the fundamental role that rural youth play in the future of rural areas. To this end, the "Youth and Rural Environment" Thematic Group was created in 2021. , made up of 39 rural experts with diverse backgrounds (academic, institutional, scientific, associative, rural residents, etc.) and with broad representation from across the country. The objective was to define proposals and ideas that the RRN could implement to help meet the needs of young people living or wishing to begin a new life project in rural areas.

The result was the organization of a series of in-person meetings with rural youth in various rural areas across the country. Thanks to these events, the RRN was able to learn firsthand about the associations around which young people come together to create and carry out activities that energize their rural environment. Regional entities that provide services to young people (youth departments, government departments, Local Action Groups, etc.) also attended.

That's why the RRN wants to raise awareness of all these entities and projects—this "Red Youth" —with the aim of highlighting youth initiatives and associations carried out in rural areas and encouraging youth associations and participation in projects that have a positive impact on rural communities.

We look forward to seeing you!
