In the area of social innovation, the results of innovative projects from the European Partnership for Productive and Sustainable Agriculture (AEI-Agri) will be presented. These projects are developed by Operational Groups funded by the 2014-2020 Rural Development Policy Programs (regional and national) and by projects from the European Horizon 2020 research program with Spanish participation.
The specific objectives for this meeting are:
- Gain insight into different perspectives for solving social problems and achieving the goals pursued in Social Innovation with the involvement of specific groups.
- Promote the exchange of results and experiences on a specific topic between innovative AEI-Agri projects funded through cooperation measure 16 of the regional RDPs and the National Rural Development Policy Programme, and projects under the European Horizon 2020 research programme. This will foster the generation of new ideas and encourage projects and solutions tested in one area to be implemented in others.
- To publicize other complementary initiatives in Social Innovation, beyond EAFRD funding.
- Strengthen knowledge transfer by promoting the creation of networks and synergies between stakeholders working or interested in the same topic.
- Connecting actors who are facing similar problems through innovation .
