This event aims to share examples of innovative projects from the European Partnership for Productive and Sustainable Agriculture (AEI-Agri) developed by Operational Groups funded by the 2014-2020 Rural Development Policy Programmes (regional and supra-regional) and by projects from the European Horizon 2020 research programme with Spanish participation related to the circular bioeconomy through the valorisation of by-products from agriculture, livestock farming or the agri-food industry.

The specific objectives for this meeting are:

To raise awareness of the state of the Bioeconomy in Spain
Promote the exchange of results and experiences in the valorisation of by-products from agriculture, livestock and the agri-food industry between innovative AEI-Agri projects financed through cooperation measure 16 of the regional RDPs and the National Programme for Rural Development Policies and projects from the European research programme Horizon 2020 , so as to promote the generation of new ideas and ensure that projects and solutions tested in one area are implemented in others.
Strengthen knowledge transfer by promoting the creation of networks and synergies between stakeholders working or interested in the same topic.
Connecting stakeholders facing similar problems through innovation.
