On November 26 and 27, the Forum for Promoting Digital Transformation in the Agri-Food Sector, DATAGRI 2018, will be held at the Córdoba Conference Center. More than 1,500 professionals will gather to analyze the present and future of Agriculture 4.0.
The National Rural Network supports this event, organized by the Coordinator of Farmers and Ranchers Organizations (COAG), Agri-Food Cooperatives of Spain, the technology company HISPATEC, and the ETSIAM of the University of Córdoba.
The first day will address key topics such as the role of agriculture in the 21st century, the opportunities that digitalization creates for small and medium-sized farmers, and the development of various tools to boost precision agriculture, improve the profitability of professional farms, and combat climate change. The applications of remote sensing and robotics in agri-food will also be analyzed, and a debate will be held on who should lead the digital transformation process in agriculture.
On the second day, the so-called "Farming Day " will take place on the farms managed by ETSIAM on the Rabanales Campus. This field day will allow farmers and ranchers to experience firsthand a sample of the many solutions offered by digitalization.
The deadline for registering attendees is through the event's official website: www.datagri.org or via the following link .
