On October 10th, as part of the National Rural Network's activities, a training workshop was held on the new Public Sector Contracts Law and the management of the National Subsidy Database. This training workshop was aimed at both Local Action Group staff and all members of the Network's Assembly.

The sessions were divided into two distinct sections with theoretical and practical content: the Public Sector Contracts Law and the National Subsidy Database.

Specifically, the following issues have been addressed:

1. Regarding the new Public Sector Contracts Law:

• Contracting figures included in the Law.
• Service concession contract and service contract with investment templates.
• Public-private collaboration alternatives.

2. Management and operation of the National Subsidy Database:

• Technical assistance to GALs in managing BDNS.
• Operation of the BDNS.
