The event is organized by the National Rural Network (RRN), at the proposal of the General Subdirectorate of Tourism Development and Sustainability of the State Secretariat for Tourism (SETUR) of the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda (MINETAD),

This workshop is aimed at Local Action Groups and regional managers of Rural Development Programs, managers of regional tourism administrations, and tourism associations located in protected areas and associated with LAGs.

Objectives of the day

• Disseminate the Ecotourism Declaration and its roadmap to engage various rural stakeholders in the context of the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development.
• Understand the requirements systems based on the tourism sustainability of destinations and ecotourism product companies, in order to create new experiences that diversify and make the tourism offering in rural areas more sustainable.
• Propose inter-territorial cooperation actions between Rural Development Groups and regional managers of Rural Development Programs to promote this product, which is beneficial for rural employment.
