AMFAR.-.Federation of Women and Families of the Rural Environment with the financing of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food , develops the RURAL WOMEN Program, protagonists of Rural Development , which is part of the line of subsidies to rural women entities at a national level called by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food for the year 2024 approved by Royal Decree 921/2024, of September 17

The program's fundamental objective is to carry out training activities to promote the role of women in rural development, as well as to promote the participation of rural women in the economic and social development of the territories where they live and improve their working and living conditions.

Within this program, AMFAR has organized the Conference " ACCESS AND USE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES BY RURAL WOMEN " that will take place on May 9, 2025 at the municipal schools of Blascosancho (Ávila).

As part of this workshop, AMFAR is committed to helping women learn how to defend themselves in the digital environment that surrounds us, as well as how to properly use the new tools and applications we regularly use.

The effective incorporation of rural women into new technologies.

With this event, AMFAR promotes the support opportunities that women can find when entering the labor market in rural areas, through the correct use and access to new technologies, reducing the digital divide in rural areas.
