The workshop will take place on Thursday, September 15, at the headquarters of the Directorate General for Rural Development (c/Gran Vía de San Francisco 4-6, room 7C). Its objectives are to update the knowledge of those involved in the control and inspection of wood products and wood importers, in order to ensure compliance with the requirements established by European and Spanish regulations. Participants will receive methodological training to disseminate the necessary control requirements for forest owners and those responsible for the wood processing industry.

Aimed at forest owners and the timber industry, the event will clarify aspects related to the first introduction of timber for marketing in the EU.
