“FEMALE HUNTING: THE IMPORTANCE OF WOMEN IN THE HUNTING SECTOR”

AMFAR.-.Federation of Women and Families of the Rural Environment with the financing of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food , develops the RURAL WOMEN Program, protagonists of Rural Development , which is part of the line of subsidies to rural women entities at a national level called by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food for the year 2024 approved by Royal Decree 921/2024, of September 17

The program's fundamental objective is to carry out training activities to promote the role of women in rural development, as well as to promote the participation of rural women in the economic and social development of the territories where they live and improve their working and living conditions.

Within this program, AMFAR has organized the conference "HUNTING AS A FEMALE: THE IMPORTANCE OF WOMEN IN THE HUNTING SECTOR", which will take place on April 5, 2025, at Plaza El Prado 2 in Escopete (Guadalajara).

Hunting activity has great socioeconomic importance in Castilla-La Mancha.

During this event, AMFAR will feature a group of women working in the hunting sector, who will share their experiences of incorporation, employment, and entrepreneurship in the hunting world with all attendees. They will also feature rural entrepreneurs, hunters, and hunter-gatherers, among others.
