The PAC Network has launched the first edition of the blended training course "Theoretical-Practical Course in Agroecological Entrepreneurship." The course aims to ensure that participants achieve:
a) Strengthen their capacities to undertake business in the agricultural and rural environment, accessing information about the basic steps to carry out this task.
b) Be more self-sufficient and sustainable in the development of their agroecological entrepreneurship projects in rural areas.
c) Be guided through a clear and comprehensive roadmap to choose, create, and maintain your entrepreneurial project in rural areas.
d) Develop your own agribusiness project in a rural environment or improve some aspect if you already have an existing business.
The course consists of theoretical and practical training in a blended learning format; it lasts a total of 36 hours , including the practical portion. A commitment to attend 80% of the theoretical portion and 90% of the practical portion is required.
Theoretical part : online modality, from October 7 to October 23, 2024 .
Practical part: This will be delivered in person on weekends . Students will be divided into two groups, each receiving practical training on one of the weekends.
- Group 1: October 26 and October 27, 2024
- Group 2: November 9 and November 10, 2024
(Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.)
The course is aimed at entrepreneurs interested in pursuing agroecological farming , who have a defined project and want specific training in this business model; or who have already started their business and want to improve it or delve deeper into key aspects.
Number of places: 20.
Registration is mandatory and the deadline is September 22 at 11:59 p.m.
After the deadline and the evaluation of applications, all registered applicants will be notified of the selection results via email.
