The first Stakeholder Forum of the Circular Bio-based Europe (CBE JU) initiative of Horizon Europe.

The forum will focus on three crucial issues for the successful development of the bio-based sector in Europe:

• How to stimulate demand for bio-based solutions?

• How can we facilitate access to financing to scale up circular bio-based production in Europe?

• What R&D&I is necessary to maintain European leadership in the bio-based sector in the medium and long term?

Participants will discuss these issues in nine sessions, and two workshops will host in-depth discussions on skills in the bio-based circular economy, as well as the needs of young researchers in the sector. There will be ample networking opportunities, and several breakout rooms will be available for smaller breakout groups. An exhibition showcasing highly innovative bio-based solutions developed by CBE JU-funded projects will take place throughout the event.

Objective: To discuss in-depth the skills in the bio-based circular economy, as well as the needs of young researchers in the sector.
