The objective of the aid is to implement the Participatory Local Development Strategy (PLDS), so that the measures promote the development, advancement, and renewal of rural populations. This will be achieved through three channels:

  • Basic local services , including leisure and culture.
  • Activities to preserve and enhance the cultural heritage of affected rural areas.

The 28 contracts promoted by this GAL include small investments and asset maintenance in municipalities and local entities.

The types of actions that will be carried out within the small investments are the following:

  1. Conditioning of recreational and leisure areas.
