The workshop provides agricultural sector technicians, government personnel , and Professional Agricultural Organizations (PAOs) with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to inform those interested in registering their farms in the Shared Ownership Registry. The implementation of this Law aims to professionalize women's agricultural activity , improve female participation in PAOs, raise awareness of women's work on farms, assist in the settlement of the rural population , and promote equality and quality of life in rural areas.

During the day, various representatives from the Regional Government of La Rioja's Ministries and Delegations involved in processing applications spoke: Agriculture, the Tax Agency, Social Security and Social Policies, Family and Equality. In addition, two people registered under the Joint Ownership scheme shared their testimony.

This was the first of 2018's events organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Environment ( MAPAMA) , through the Subdirectorate General for Innovation and Modernization of Rural Environments. These events have been scheduled in various autonomous communities to promote and disseminate the concept of Shared Ownership. The following events will take place on March 1 in Valladolid and on March 14 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife .
